I started compositing 15 years ago and haven’t stopped since.
During the first years of my career, I worked with Digital Fusion and then jumped to Autodesk Flame, Inferno and Smoke, collaborating in real-time with clients. My preferred tool now is The Foundry’s Nuke Studio as it is the strongest package for VFX and pipeline establishment when used properly.
I am used to working closely with international directors, providing solutions for production and post-production from the early stages of pre-production. I also have very strong skills in stereoscopic compositing (3D) and stitching 360 videos in mono or stereo, among many others:
- Excellent knowledge of 3D compositing, colour grading and matching, integrating CGI elements with live footage, 2d-3d tracking, match moving, set extension, green-blue keying extraction, etc.
- Strong knowledge of professional cameras like Red Epic/Dragon and Arri Alexa and stereo rigs. Lately, I have added 360 stereo rigs to my workflow.
- Strong skills in compositing, VFX supervising, on-set supervising, creative projects, managing VFX teams, solving impossible technical problems.
- Experience with all active studios in the Greek and Middle East markets as well as many European studios as a freelancer, mainly for high-end TVC’s and films but also as a set supervisor and VFX artist.
My best working scenario would be getting assignments of impossible tasks, and I have very strong skills working directly with clients in-suite or onset.
