NEEDaFIXER, multi-national critically acclaimed video production services company is looking into bolstering their Video Production Departments. We are looking into hiring an experienced Editor to assist across multiple departments, including editing sizzle reels, short content and short corporate films.
Job Responsibilities
- You will be editing video content for various social media platforms and marketing channels in-line with a brief.
- Owning the post-production process for your projects, working closely with the rest of the team to hit deadlines for key milestones e.g rough cut, amends, delivery etc.
- Carrying out some basic colour grading
- Carrying out some basic audio editing such as clean ups, soundtrack editing, voice over etc.
- Creating and implementing visual effects of 2D into video projects. On a basic level this will involve 2D After Effects based graphics, such as lower thirds, infographic style video content, basic animation.
- You will work closely with the internal content team and teams in the wider business to develop high quality internal content.
- You will be responsible for archiving files in a professional and logical way, in line with a pre-established format.
Work Hours & Benefits
Due to the multinational character of the group, you may be required to work unsocial hours and direct reporting to the CEO of the group might occur on a daily basis without prior notice. Looking for people who are interested in working on international projects with emphasis in Europe. You will be working from your own office or base. Normal working hours are 09.30 to 18.30, one hour break included.

Qualifications and Skills
- Multiple years of industry experience working in or for a creative agency or in-house production team
- Confident independent worker who is well organised and brings creative flair to projects
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud with proficient understanding of Premiere Pro and After Effects
- Able to take feedback and incorporate it quickly, working to tight deadlines
- Able to balance time across multiple projects, being very organised with your day
- Good understanding of post-production process working with sound-mixers and colourists
- Work with minimal supervision, taking responsibility for your work and being able to prioritise projects in an organised manner, managing expectations across teams
- Demonstrate initiative in responding to briefs, bringing ideas to life with an enthusiastic and proactive approach
- Knowledge or purchase orders and expense reports
- Ability to work flexible hours depending on workflow
Preferred
- Motion graphics experience with After Effects
- Experience with creative ideation
