Production Manager

NEEDaFIXER, multi-national critically acclaimed video production services company is looking into bolstering their Video Production Departments. We are looking into hiring an experienced Production Manager to be responsible for the planning, implementation, managing and running all the steps of a production from start to completion, including client communication, budgeting, coordination remote and on location, reporting and negotiations. 
Role based in KSA.  

Job Responsibilities

  • Supporting in the creation of proposals (and supporting on pitches where required) 
  • Creating complex project budgets and schedules and helping to manage projects effectively against them 
  • Planning, sourcing and engaging the necessary resources to deliver the project (both internal and freelance) 
  • Helping to source and manage relationships with key suppliers and freelancers. 
  • Working closely with Producers to ensure all project logistics are in place including all relevant insurances, permissions and visas. 
  • Helping to set up shoots both in the UK and internationally 
  • Assisting with sourcing locations, actors & setting up casting sessions. You will assist on location shoots where appropriate. 
  • Managing clients’ expectations and feedback 
  • Doing rigorous quality checks – both on delivery of the final asset to the build team and once online 
  • Ensuring project admin is completed thoroughly in a timely manner 
  • You will be instrumental to the smooth running and maintenance of departmental systems and procedures, including but not limited to billing, booking of and liaisons with freelancers, archiving and project workflows. 
  • Ensuring that all archiving of job folders and project drives is completed and kept up to date. 
  • Producing internal & pitch films 
  • Managing the formatting and finishing of awards entries 

Work Hours & Benefits

Due to the multinational character of the group you may be required to work unsocial hours and direct reporting to the CEO of the group might occur on a daily basis without prior notice. Looking for people who are interested in working on international projects with emphasis in Europe. You will be working from your own office or base. Normal working hours are 09.30 to 18.30, one hour break included.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Production experience, in the role of Production Assistant, Production Co-ordinator/Secretary or Production Manager 
  • Production experience within Non-Broadcast/Corporate production with a thorough understanding of all aspects of production processes for both live action and animation projects, with the ability to budget and schedule these independently. 
  • Good office skills and an excellent telephone / email / personal manner 
  • Good IT skills including proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 applications (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Teams, Sharepoint) 
  • Good organisation skills and a desire to follow and improve processes 
  • Ability to work autonomously under pressure and to tight deadlines 
  • Attention to detail in both written and verbal communication 
  • An ability to take responsibility and make judgement 

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in business admin or Film Studies recommended.  
  • 5+ Years of Experience.
