Post-Production Coordinator

NEEDaFIXER, multi-national critically acclaimed video production services company is looking into bolstering their Video Production Departments. We are looking into hiring an experienced Postproduction Coordinator to be responsible for the planning, implementation, managing and running all the steps of post-production, working with clients, in house editors and VFX teams, freelance crew and reporting directly to executives 

Job Responsibilities

  • Work with producer, leads and supervisors to track and manage workflow through the departments meeting internal and external deadlines 
  • Updating internal post-production team calendar and availability  
  • Updating freelance database  
  • Handles freelance invoices raising PO and forwarding to accounts for payments 
  • Handles briefs from clients including budgeting  
  • Manage post-production budget and schedule to ensure projects are delivered within budget 

Work Hours & Benefits

Due to the multinational character of the group, you may be required to work unsocial hours and direct reporting to the CEO of the group might occur on a daily basis without prior notice. Looking for people who are interested in working on international projects with emphasis in Europe. You will be working from your own office or base. Normal working hours are 09.30 to 18.30, one hour break included. Benefits of the position include:

Qualifications and Skills

  • Working knowledge of post-production operations and workflow 
  • Familiarity with physical production or previous studio experience  
  • Strong organizational skills, ability to multitask and organise multiple projects with excellent follow through  
  • Strong communication skills with an ability to interface with 3rd party vendors, internal executives, and staff in a collaborative and problem-solving fashion  
  • A strong customer service orientation with ability to anticipate and resolve routine questions or issues while keeping senior executive aware of project status. Confidence to take initiative and research information, as needed. 
  • Knowledge or purchase orders and expense reports 
  • Ability to work flexible hours depending on workflow
